Mikhail Zemtsov to preparecoronation celebrations inMoscow . Two years later, he was entrusted with interior decoration of theCatherine Palace , which resulted in the and other celebrated rooms.Simultaneously, he was commissioned by the
hetman Kirill Razumovsky to design the residences and churches inBaturin ,Glukhov , andKoselets . In 1770, he was made Principal Architect ofLittle Russia . The cathedral in Kozelets and the ruined palace in Baturin are among a handful of his Ukrainian buildings which still stand, although little remains of their original designs and decor.Kvasov is also credited with devising the general layout of
Kazan (1766),Tver (1767),Astrakhan (1768),Kharkov (1768), and the Admiralty part ofSt Petersburg .
