Associazione Sportiva Melfi is an Italian football club, based in Melfi, Basilicata. The club was founded in 1929. It has always played in amateur categories, having succeeded to gain its first success in 1988, winning Coppa Italia Dilettanti. The club was promoted to Serie C2 for the first time in 2003. The home ground of Melfi is the "Stadio Arturo Valerio" which has a capacity of 4,100 persons. Currently Melfi is going to start its sixth consecutive season in the fourth level of Italian professional football, Lega Pro Seconda Divisione, the rebranded Serie C2. The team's colors are yellow and green.
