Ronald Pearsall

Ronald Pearsall

Ronald Joseph Pearsall, (October 20 1927 – September 27 2005) was a writer whose scope included children's stories, pornography and fishing. His most famous book was The Worm and the Bud, which was about Victorian orgies, prostitution and fetishism.

A prolific writer, his other books included "Victorian popular music", "Edwardian popular music" and "Popular music of the twenties".

He held other jobs as a shoe shop assistant, cinema manager and store detective.
