1972 by theCanadian National Railway in the railway hub ofMoncton, New Brunswick .The first class hotel was operated by
Canadian National Hotels until that chain was purchased byCanadian Pacific Hotels in 1988. CP Hotels placed the Beauséjour under itsDelta Hotels subsidiary in the 1990s and in 1999, CP Hotels and Delta became part of theFairmont Hotels and Resorts chain.The hotel currently operates under the Delta banner as the Delta Beauséjour Hotel and has the most rooms of any hotel in the province. The hotel building was purchased by Legacy Hotels in 2006 and underwent a major 6 million dollar renovation which finished in 2008.
