Alan Aranoff (אלן אהרונוף) is an American-
Israeli architect , born inLos Angeles ,California , 1958. Trained atUCLA (M.Arch 1984, underCharles Willard Moore ) and practiced atKohn Pedersen Fox Associates inNew York (1984-87), in large scale commercial design, where he received his professional licensing. Went on to work atKarmi Associates inTel Aviv (1988-91) as a senior designer, primarily involved with the design of theIsrael Supreme Court building inJerusalem , but also large scale residential construction. From 1991 has run an independent architectural design and consulting practice in Tel Aviv, and presently inLapid ,Israel , designing residential projects,synagogue s and large governmental complexes. Current work employs advanced digital modeling of complex forms, working with international teams of designers and engineers, as a means to achieve rich built environments that are highly focused on users and context.ources
