The Insiders

"The Insiders" was a mid-1980s American television detective series starring Nicholas Campbell, Stoney Jackson and Gail Strickland.

Notes

The one season program aired the hour before Monday Night Football. It was directed by Robby Roth, presently known for the popular series "Prison Break." Many people who remember this series recall the popular theme song Just A Job To Do by Genesis.Stoney Jackson who portrayed "Mackey" showed up in dozens of television series' as a guest star but is also credited as one of the lead dancers in Michael Jackson's video "Beat It".

This show followed the smash hit success of "Miami Vice", which it greatly resembled in style and content.
