Jeff Ward (born
June 22 ,1961 inGlasgow ,Scotland of Scottish parents) is the firstmotocross rider in history to win every major AMAmotocross national championship. After retiring from motocross with seven titles and 56 wins, Ward moved to racing cars in theIndy Racing League . Ward finished 6th in series points in 1998, and won the 2002 race atTexas Motor Speedway . He established a solid reputation at the prestigiousIndianapolis 500 : he was1997 Rookie of the Year with a third place finish and garnered four top five finishes in just seven starts. Ward was also in the 1971 documentary movie "On Any Sunday " staringSteve McQueen . He has 4 kids: Brandon(16), Ayrton(11), Alain(11), and Siena(9).
