Samwise Didier is the art director at
Blizzard Entertainment . He is responsible for creating much of the artwork for computer games in the "Warcraft", "StarCraft ", and the "Diablo" series. He is the senior art director on "StarCraft II ". [http://pc.ign.com/articles/790/790185p1.html] Among the veteran Blizzard employees, Didier has been a consistent artist for many years, his unique style greatly influencing the game art.Fact|date=September 2008Didier was responsible for the Pandaren, a race regarded by fans - and used by Blizzard - as a "joke race" but still with legitimacy within the lore. Among other things, panda icons also appeared accompanying much of Didier's art, and could be seen in "" as the emblem on the Night Elf demon hunter's warblades, a picture in the Paladin's book, and the ashes that form after the usage of the Blood Mage's Flame Strike ability has a pattern of a panda's face.

Easter Egg model of a kobold with his head transplanted onto it.His face is also seen in the
MMORPG ,World of Warcraft , used as an icon for spells and abilities that do not have an image associated with them. For instance, several spells cast by quest givers use this icon. Since they are not real spells, they use this as the icon. They are visible if the "Show Enemy Spellcast Bar" option is enabled and an NPC is targeted during casting.Samwise is also the vocalist for the popular Blizzard band L70ETC, which is entirely composed of Blizzard employees, including President
