Isabella Selmes Ferguson Greenway King (born
March 22 ,1886 ,Boone County, Kentucky ; diedDecember 18 ,1953 ,Tucson, Arizona ) is best known as the first U.S. congresswoman in Arizona's history, and as the founder of theArizona Inn of Tucson. She was also a one-time owner and operator ofLos Angeles, Calif. -basedGilpin Air Lines , spoke at the 1932Democratic National Convention , and was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Eleanor andFranklin D.
