The List of ships of World War II is an alphabetical list of all fighting ship classes of World War II. For individual ships, see the List of World War II ships. Classes consisting of only a single ship are not listed, except in cases where more ships were laid down or planned.
The use of "=" indicates were the same ships are known by different class names. Displacement is standard displacement.
