H. Beau Baez

H. Beau Baez is a professor of law at the [http://www.charlottelaw.edu Charlotte School of Law] , where he teaches courses in Torts, Business Associations, Federal Income Taxation, and State Taxation.

Career

He received his undergraduate degrees at Liberty University (B.A. in Biblical Studies & B.S. in Speech Communications) and his J.D. & LL.M.(taxation) degrees at the Georgetown University Law Center. He developed an expertise in state & local taxation during the eight years he worked at the [http://www.mtc.gov Multistate Tax Commission] in Washington, DC and he continues to write articles in the state & local taxation area. He is a regular columnist in the [http://www.natptax.com/tax_pro_quarterly_journal.html TAXPRO Journal] , where his "Multistate Update" informs readers of current trends in multistate taxation.

Professor Baez began his teaching career at Concord Law School (2000-2004) and later joined the founding faculty at the Liberty University School of Law (2004-2007).
