Borensberg ,Sweden is one of Europe's leading suppliers of solid extrudedthermoplastic sheet. They extrude solid sheet out ofpolycarbonate (PC), Copolyester (PETG ), ABS andpolyolefins (PO).Arla Plast AB was the first company inEurope to co-extrude aUV-absorber on polycarbonate sheet in order to enhance the weatherability of polycarbonate for outdoor use.This polycarbonate sheet is calledMakrolife , both referring to the origin of the product (Makrolon polycarbonate, one of the two original resins) and the improvement: enhancing lifetime.Co-extrusion is the preferred method today to enhance polycarbonate sheets. All major manufacturers of polycarbonate sheet use this technique now; where in the past some had used acrylic coating.The co-extrusion technique is used for their other solid sheet products Griphen (PETG, and ABS), but also for
