Fenerbahçe againstAnkaragücü on9 February 2003 . Since the first season he joined Fenerbahçe, he had been fighting with repeating injuries that abandoned him from becoming a regular first eleven player. With the arrival ofZico , he showed sings of recovery from his injury and played in couple of matches. However, his efforts weren't good enough to stay inİstanbul as he leaved the city forGaziantep after the arrival of Fenerbahçe's new manager,Luis Aragonés . Now, because of the conflict between Chairman of Fenerbahçe and Gaziantepspor, he was sent back and will play for Fenerbahçe in 2008-2009 season.Honours
