Tyrone Gyle Howe (born
2 April 1971 inNewtownards ) is a formerrugby union footballer who played on the wing for Ulster and Ireland. He toured with the 2001 British and Irish Lions.Howe retired from professional rugby at the end of the 2005-6 season. In 2005 he was elected to
Banbridge District Council as anUlster Unionist Party candidate.
