New York ) is a NHL hockey player who, along with his twin brother Chris became the first set of identical twins to play on the same NHL team, (theNew York Rangers ) in the 1995–1996 NHL hockey season.Ferraro was the first of the twins to be drafted into the NHL in the first round (#24 overall) in the
1992 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers. During his NHL career, he would play for the New York Rangers, thePittsburgh Penguins , theBoston Bruins and theWashington Capitals . Even though they are grizzled veterans of the Pro hockey circuit, neither Ferraro has managed to play over 100 NHL games. Ferraro has a career NHL total of 92 games played, 9 goals, 15 assists and 24 points.Both brothers played for the
DEG Metro Stars of the DEL in the 2005–06 season. Ferraro has signed a contract with theNew York Islanders and attended the team's 2006–07 training camp.
