Glover got into music shortly after being kicked out of school as a teenager. Getting a job at a recording studio, he met artists like
Peter Frampton ,Paul Young , andChina Crisis before eventually being promoted to recording engineer.His work as an engineer lead him to meet
DJ Rev , and Glover purchasedsynthesizers and aRoland_TR-808 drum machine . The eventual collaboration was released and sold a number of copies. Later, Glover's remix ofMariah Carey 's "Someday" sold 500 copies in one day, and he began catching the eye of major labels including Sony.Glover spent the next few years making albums for various labels, including his own Matrix Records, including selling more than 10000 copies of his project "Crime".
MCA Records signed him to their electronic music imprint, but soon folded the imprint, leaving Glover without a label.After some time off, Glover began remixing and creating music again. He signed with One Little Indian and released the album "Which Way is Up", featuring a cover of
P.I.L. 's song "This is Not a Love Song."
