Scott Arniel

Scott William Arniel (born on September 17, 1962 in Kingston, Ontario), is a former NHL ice hockey player and head coach of the AHL's Manitoba Moose. His nephew Jamie plays for the OHL's Sarnia Sting. He was inducted into the Kingston Regional Sports Hall of Fame on May 2, 2008. ["Kingston Whig-Standard", May 3, 2008.]

* Scored hat trick for Cornwall in 8–2 win over Kitchener in Memorial Cup title game on May 10, 1981
* Played on first Canadian team to win a gold medal at World Junior Championships in 1982
* A born-again Christian, he worked at Christian Teen Ranch during off-seasons of his playing days and was active in Athletes in Action.
