"Tomb of The Mutilated" is third album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse. It was released in 1992 through Metal Blade Records and is the last album featuring founding guitarist Bob Rusay. The album was banned in Germany until June 2006, due to the cover art featuring one corpse performing cunnilingus on another. The censored version features a further corpse presumably watching the act (not shown) in adoration.Fact|date=February 2008 It is considered by many to be Cannibal Corpse's best album because of the heavy riffs, speed, clean production, and Chris Barnes' vocals and lyrics, which are incredibly perverse.

Chris Barnes' vocals on "Tomb of The Mutilated" are exceptionally guttural, and the liner notes proudly state that an "Electronic Harmonizer was not used to create any vocals on "Tomb of The Mutilated".

Because the liner notes on "Tomb Of The Mutilated" feature quotations from American serial killer Albert Fish, Fish is often incorrectly credited with being the voice at the beginning of "Addicted To Vaginal Skin". However, the taped confession that you hear at the beginning of the song most likely belongs to the "Genesee River Killer" Arthur Shawcross. "All in all "Tomb Of The Mutilated" is a varied record in that respect that it contains lots of tempo changes. The blast beats aren't used in a way that makes them become stale; they stand out when they are used. Not only are the blast beats used wisely, they sound great as well; Scott Burns surely knew how to turn those knobs.
