Western Suburbs Magpies ,Auckland Warriors and theMelbourne Storm in the AustralianNational Rugby League competition before finishing his career withHull FC in the English Super League competition.Kearney represented the New Zealand national team on many occasions, captaining them several times. His position of choice was in the second row. In 1993 he was the Kiwi's youngest test captain.
Kearney is now assistant coach at the
