Andrew Lawrence is a British stand-up comedian.
Lawrence is a former student of Tiffin School, Kingston upon Thames and St Andrews University. His act often includes songs performed on an acoustic guitar. The subject matter tends towards the sick and twisted.
Lawrence presented his first hour-long comedy show at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival titled "How to Butcher your Loved Ones" to critical acclaim. It was nominated for the If.comedy newcomers award. His 2007 Fringe show is called "Social Leprosy For Beginners & Improvers". This was nominated for the main if.comedy award. For the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe Andrew is presenting his new hour-long show "Don't Just Do Something, Sit There".
He had a role as a Christian builder (Marco) in Ideal, a comedy.
