George Carmont, (born June 30 1978 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a professional rugby league footballer for the Wigan Warriors of the Super League competition. His position of choice is centre. George is a strong defensive player who has continued to prove himself alongside team-mates such as Andrew Johns and Anthony Quinn. He is extremely accommodating to his fans and can be seen signing autographs and posing for photos after every gameFact|date=April 2008. He has represented New Zealand, USA and
Samoa at international level.
