Erica Wagner was born in
New York City in1967 [ [http://www.ericawagner.co.uk/aboutme.php Ericawagner.co.uk] ] . She grew up on theUpper West Side and went to theBrearley School .As a child she suffered from epilepsy.She moved to Britain in the 1980s to continue her education, first at
St Paul's Girls' School , then atCambridge University , and finally at theUniversity of East Anglia , where she was taught byMalcolm Bradbury andRose Tremain .She is the author of several books, including a collection of short stories, "Gravity", and "Ariel’s Gift:
Ted Hughes ,Sylvia Plath , and the Story of Birthday Letters". Her latest work is the novel "Seizure" [ [http://arts.independent.co.uk/books/reviews/article2464172.ece Review of "Seizure" in The Independent, 20 April 2007] ] .She is literary editor of "
