Sussanne Roshan (née Khan, born October 26, 1978) is an interior designer, owner of the "Sussanne Roshan's House of Design" store, and more popularly known as the wife of actor Hrithik Roshan.

Biography

Sussanne Roshan is the daughter of ex-actor Sanjay Khan and interior designer Zarine Khan, sister of actor Zayed Khan, cousin of actor Fardeen Khan, and mother of Hrehaan Roshan (born March 28, 2006) and Hridhaan Roshan (born May 1,2008). She is of paternal Pashtun-Persian and maternal Parsi descent, although her mother converted to Islam during the marriage ceremony. Her family claims Afghan descent and are currently settled in and around Mumbai.

After finishing her schooling in Mumbai, she attended Brooks College in Long Beach, California in 1993 to obtain an Associate of Arts Degree in Interior Design. Their friendship soon blossomed into a love relationship, resulting in a registered civil marriage on December 20, 2000 in Bangalore, India. Despite her Muslim and her husband's Hindu religious backgrounds, the couple do not allow their faiths to affect their relationship.

She made her first TV appearance on the show A Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, hosted by yesteryear actress Simi Garewal. She also appeared on Koffee with Karan with Gauri Khan, wife of Shah Rukh Khan.
