MK-3-12

"MK-3-12" (Russian: "МК-3-12") is a Russian and Soviet 305 mm (12 inch) three-gun naval artillery turret. It was the most powerful gun to be installed serially on Russian and Soviet ships. Prototype was created in 1907. On the Black Sea Fleet 400 shots per gun was allowed to be done.

* Maximum laying speed: vertical - 4 degrees per min, horizontal - 3,2 degrees per min
* Rate of fire: 2-3 shots per min
* Shell weight: 470,9 kg
* Initial velocity of the shell: 853 m/s
* Range: 29,340 m

* This gun was mounted in the Gangut class battleships and the Imperatritsa Mariya class battleships as well as coastal artillery and railway guns. Some guns were captured by the Germans in World War II and used in battery "Mirius" in Guernsey.
