(1978)""The Left Banke Too" was the second studio LP by the 1960s baroque rock band
The Left Banke . It has a curious history. The original five-piece unit was now whittled down to a trio, after the departure of lead singer/keyboardist Michael Brown, and guitaristRick Brand . Half of the album consisted of tracks that had been issued as singles in the two-year period since the release of the band's debut album. The oldest track, "Desiree", was released as a single in the Autumn of 1967 and just barely scraped into the charts, reaching #98. The next single, "Dark Is The Bark" b/w "My Friend Today" was released in the summer of 1968, followed closely by "Goodbye Holly" b/w "Sing Little Bird Sing". Neither of them charted. When the album was finally released, in February of 1969, the single that accompanied it was "Bryant Hotel" b/w "Nice To See You". It also did not chart. "Goodbye Holly" and "Bryant Hotel" were unique in that they featured lead vocals by drummer George Cameron. With no real hits, the album did not sell well, but it is highly regarded today as a fine example of baroque psychedelic pop.

Aerosmith Steven Tyler contributed backing vocals to several songs on the LP ("Nice to See You", "Give the Man a Hand", and "Dark is the Bark").Track listing
