Dorsiventral

Dorsiventral (Lat. dorsum, "the back", venter, "the belly") is a term used to describe an organ which has two surfaces differing from each other in appearance and structure, as an ordinary leaf. In biology, this term also refers to that which extends from a dorsal to a ventral surface.
