Gaelic Athletic Association competition, secondary to theAll-Ireland Senior Football Championship . The participants are the teams that were eliminated at the early provincial stages of theAll-Ireland Senior Football Championship , and also Kilkenny who do not field a team in the main All-Ireland. The series of games are organised by theGaelic Athletic Association and are played during the summer months with the Final being played in August inCroke Park ,Dublin . Recent changes to theAll-Ireland Senior Football Championship mean that the 2008 Tommy Murphy Cup will feature the eight lowest ranking teams in National Football League unless the teams reach the final of their respective provincial championships. Antrim beat holders Wicklow in the final. [ [http://www.gaa.ie/plugins/newsfeed.cgi?rm=content&plugin_data_id=15367 News | Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Official Website - GAA.ie ] ]Background
