Symbiat Inc, previously named Computone Corporation is a company based in Atlanta, Georgia that designs, manufactures and markets intelligent servers for secure remote network management, secure E-commerce, and remote access communications for Internet, Sun, Linux, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft Windows NT, and Novell.

According to a press release on the Altura XL website [http://www.alturaxl.com/CorpInfo/PressReleases/PressReleases.html] , Symbiat Inc. has chosen to "focus on their services business" and Altura has purchased the Computone IntelliServer RAS 2000 hardware product line from Symbiat. Altura XL has also signed an agreement which grants them sole rights to the IntelliServer RAS 2000 technology.
