railroadclass=| The Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (L&YR) Class 23 is a class of 0-6-0ST steam locomotive.

One, L&YR 752 (LMS 11456 ), is preserved, having been sold to the NCB and as of 2005 is undergoing an overhaul to bring it back to working order.

It was built as a 0-6-0 tender locomotive to the design of Barton Wright in 1877 and rebuilt as a 0-6-0ST by Aspinall in 1891-1900.
