R.H. Rollings Middle School of the Arts (RMSA) teaches grades six to eight in Summerville, South Carolina. RMSA has six main core areas: visual arts, vocal, theater arts, dance, piano, and strings. The mission of R. H. Rollings Middle School of the Arts is to provide its students, future members of a global community, with an integrated curriculum that develops maximum academic potential through creative expression and exploration of the arts. As of 2006 its current population is 632 children ranging from the ages of 10-14. The school has won several awards. It is currently the only art school in Dorchester County.

RMSA Also won the 2006-2007 Palmetto's Finest award, making them one of the best schools in South Carolina (or the finest middle school in South Carolina).

The school has many extra curricular activities such as Dream Show Choir, Junior Astronauts, and FLL Robotics. RMSA has around 600 students so the students have many opportunities to have academic assistance and one on one help.

RMSA is one of the top five schools in South Carolina, with the best PACT (Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test) scores.
