Skor

Skor is a slim candy bar produced by The Hershey Company. It was first marketed in US in 1981 and later launched in Canada in 1983. It was originally intended as competition for the Heath bar produced by the Heath Company and, later, the Leaf Candy Company; however, the Skor bar continues to be produced despite Hershey's acquisition of Leaf, Inc. in 1996 and subsequent production of the Heath bar under the Hershey name.

The bar consists of a thin slab of butter toffee covered in a milk chocolate coating. It is similar in style to a Daim bar. Skor is available from retail stores as a single, individually wrapped candy bar in a 39 gram (1.4 oz) portion.Its kashrut status is OUD.

Skor is Swedish for "shoes", and the crown that appears in the product's logo is identical to that found in the Swedish national emblem of "Tre Kronor" ("Three Crowns").

Skor bars are often used in chocolate trifle recipes. Other ingredients often include chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and generic sponge cake.
