St. Odunisis

St. Odunisis, also known as the Judicator, is a mythical Saint associated with Marhikuism.

St. Odunisis is notable for his writing of various books and scrolls, most of which contribute to the Marhikuist Bible, the Rextator Scrolls.

A statue of him can be found at the right hand of Marhiku in the "Temple of the Gods", which is located in Trebonia.

t. Odunisis

The only son of the immortals Sodan and Mara, Odunisis is an immortal Saint associated with loyalty, passion, wisdom, and enlightenment.

In his youth Odunisis was considered a quiet and sheltered child, hiding himself away from others as he studied the old scrolls from the First Age of Marhiku, heightening his knowledge and intellect. As he matured, he grew more and more fond of mortals, falling in love on multiple occasions with human women.

Later when Odunisis had passed his trials and entered a full state of godhood, he became a great advocate of justice, becoming known as the Judicator. During this same time he assisted godhead Marhiku in his regaining of the Nexus and the defeat of the demons Ser Rahlf, Ser Jime, and Ser Dagdason.

He was soon married to Berenzah (who is associated with love, happiness, and life) who soon gave birth to three sons: Vos, Vani, and Var.

t. Odunisis' Sons

Vos (also known as "Tei'Vos"), the first son of Odunisis, is associated with the hawk, symbolizing victory and dominion. He is notable for his appearance in the Third Age as a leader of the rallying human armies which oppose the will of Ser Dadiras, more commonly known as simply "Dadiras". Vos also killed his brother, Vani.

Vani (also known as "Tei'Vani"), the second son of Odunisis, is associated with the ape, symbolizing intelligence and ingenuity. Vani is renowned for his betrayal of Vos during the Third Age and later his grueling death at the hands of his brothers, as accounted in The Book of the Third Age.

Var (also known as "Tei'Var"), the third and final son of Odunisis, is associated with the boar, symbolizing strength and diligence. Var most notably is seen in various mortal forms throughout the Third and Fourth Ages, performing deeds, both good and bad, as human heroes. He is notable for his distaste for Elf-kind.

Books of St. Odunisis

St. Odunisis wrote, in total, three books that contribute to the Rextator Scrolls. He also wrote various other scrolls that cannot be found within the mainstream holy word.

t. Odunisis' Book of Proverbs

St. Odunisis' Book of Proverbs is a various assortment of short parables and teachings written by St. Odunisis. The most notable of these teachings is "Of the Earth and the Heaven".

"We rest upon the earth which sits so silently beneath us. We take our bricks from its depths and stack them upon itself. We rise our towers above it so we may reach the heavens when certainly it is the earth itself that we rise into the sky as well. Must we truly look to the heavens when what is necessary to us is but beneath our feet? What can the nexus of space provide that we cannot find here on our mother's soil? If we are truly birthed from this place, then we must keep it in caressing hand. Do not curse the land you walk upon, but curse those who destroy it." - Proverbs

t. Odunisis' Book of "Tests of Mortals"

St. Odunisis' Book of "Tests of Mortals" comprises various short teachings and covers the accounts of Odunisis' encounters with mortals, most notably the falling in love with multiple mortal women over time.

It does, however, also give detailed accounts on various mortal wars in the 2nd and 3rd Ages which Odunisis, before achieving sainthood, played pivotal roles in.

Her Love and Sacrifice- "Her Love and Sacrifice" is a short chapter on the events that took place during Odunisis' first love with a mortal woman named Sara.

Her Love and Betrayal- "Her Love and Betrayal" is a short chapter on the events that took place during Odunisis' second love with a mortal woman named Amia. "Ser Rahlf" makes a returning appearance.

New Lust- "New Lust" is a short chapter on the events that took placed after "Her Love and Betrayal", leading up until the introduction of "Berenzah".
