Frazier Thomas

William Frazier Thomas (June 13 1918, Rushville, Indiana - April 3 1985, Chicago, Illinois) was a Chicago television personality. He spent most of his career at WGN television.

He was best known for hosting the long-running children's television program "Garfield Goose and Friends" on WGN-TV in Chicago and had worked as a radio DJ along with hosting earlier, sundry radio and television programs in a long career which spanned from before World War II until his death.

On WGN Thomas also hosted "Family Classics" and took over as circus manager on "Bozo's Circus" after the retirement of ringmaster Ned Locke.

The portly Thomas, whom WGN's original Bozo (Bob Bell) referred to as "Fat, Friendly Fraze" (which Thomas had called himself on "Garfield Goose"), died from a stroke at the age 66.
