Uldarico A. Alviola

Uldarico A. Alviola (1883 - 1966), well-known Cebuano Visayan novelist, he was considered the dean of Cebuano writers. Also a distinguished lexicographer, he was the editor of "Ang Suga", and several other Spanish language publications.

In 1962 he received the LUDABI award for his contributions to Cebuano culture. He was also once a Deputy Governor of Cebu, one of the provinces of the Philippines.

His pseudonyms included Artagnan, Sikatuna, and M. Anabell.
