- Dolfin Dolfin
-
Dolfin Dolfin was a Venetian noble who played an important role of defending the Byzantine capital Constantinople against the Ottoman Empire during the Siege of Constantinople in 1453. He was originally put in charge of the city's north gate, but after Captain Jacamo Coco died while trying to burn the Turkish fleet, he was put in charge of the Byzantine Navy. Dolfin Dolfin survived the fall of the city.
