Cave Hill, Saint Michael, Barbados

Cave Hill, St. Michael is a suburban area situated in the parish of St. Michael. It is located about 4 km north-west of the capital-city Bridgetown along the west coast of Barbados.

University of the West Indies campus

The name Cave Hill, St. Michael is synonymous as one of the three main campuses of the University of the West Indies (UWI) which is situated there. The university was established at Cave Hill, St. Michael in 1963, and occupies roughly 50 acres of land.

The primary area of study at Cave Hill campus is Law, however the campus also covers the Faculties of:
*Pure and Applied Sciences
*Humanities and Education
*Social Sciences
*and MedicineTotal annual enrollment at this campus is usually just over 3 200 students.
