A quasi-judicial body is an individual or organization which has powers resembling those of a
court of law orjudge and is able to remedy a situation or impose legal penalties on a person or organization.Powers
Such bodies usually have powers of
adjudication in such matters as::breach of discipline:conduct rules:trust in the matters of money or otherwise.Their powers are usually limited to a particular area of expertise, such as
financial market s,employment law , public standards, immigration, or regulation.they are found in the courts
Award and verdict
Awards and verdicts often depend on a pre-determined set of guidelines or punishment depending on the nature and gravity of the offence committed. Such punishment may be legally enforceable under the law of a country, it can be challenged in a court of law which is the final decisive authority.
