- William S. McFeely
William S. McFeely was a professor of history for decades before his retirement in 1997.
He received his B.A. from
Amherst College and Ph.D. fromYale University . He taught for sixteen years atMount Holyoke College before joining theUniversity of Georgia in 1986. He retired in 1997, and was a fellow atHarvard 'sRadcliffe Institute for Advanced Study during the 2006-2007 academic year.Awards
