Frederic Jesup Stimson

Frederic Jesup Stimson

Frederic Jesup Stimson (1855-1943) was the first United States ambassador to Argentina, a post he held during World War I. He was a Harvard Law graduate and writer of several influential books on law, and also a novelist specialising in historical romances, sometimes writing under the pen name "J.S. of Dale".
