cd3o is a
consumer electronics startup company fromSan Diego ,California . Their only current product is their family of cd3o Network MP3 players, which allow the streaming of digital audio over anethernet home network to a stereo.'cd3o' stands for content delivery, 3rd generation - open.
The company was started in
2002 byCyrix founding member,Tom Brightman with funding fromSevin Rosen Funds . The current CEO isEverett Roach .Based on the absence of firmware updates (no firmware released since the March 2004 Software Interim update) and the absence of responses by company personnel on their support forum (last post 9/22/06), it appears this product has been abandoned.
In addition, based on the lack of any activity (no updates to website since 2006) on the company website and the absence of communication on any of their forums, it appears that the company has ceased to function other than to take orders for old products already in their inventory.
