XHTML Meta Data Profiles (XMDP) is a
format for definingmetadata formats through (X)HTML while enabling people to see it visually in aweb browser . Applications that use XMDP include XFN,hCard , or any schema ormicroformat that displays its definition through (X)HTML.Example

To apply, use the profile attribute in the head element of your document:

Where URL denotes the full address of your XMDP profile resource.
