Cruz was "just a little punk rock kid" growing up, a self-proclaimed "product of the 80's skate wave." He began playing with
Strung Out in 1992 in Southern California.Jason's major influences include classic artists such as
The Beatles ,Jimi Hendrix ,Elvis Presley ,Elvis Costello andBob Dylan .
