King’s Valley is a platform/maze game from Konami, released for the MSX computer and MS-DOS in 1985. The game plays is like Montezuma’s Revenge except it takes place in pyramids instead of Mayan ruins. As an intrepid adventurer, the player's goal is to collect various gems, while evading angry ghosts and other monsters long enough to find the exit to the next level. Higher levels are both longer and feature bonus items, such as the pickaxes and other tools the player can use. Although not a puzzle game, King’s Valley does require some thinking to get ahead, especially in later levels where you must figure out the optimal path to get to the gems.

A port to MS-DOS was made by a Korean company named APROMAN, however it only supports monochrome and CGA graphic cards.

A sequel to this game is King's Valley II. It was released for the MSX in two versions, each specifically designed for the MSX and MSX2 versions, respectively. There is also a special edition of the MSX2 version with some new edited levels.
