Several ships of the
Royal Navy have been named HMS "Dragon".*HMS|Dragon|1647|6, a
fourth rate frigate launched in 1647, rebuilt in 1690 and 1707 and wrecked in 1711.
*HMS|Ormonde|1711|6, a 50-gun fourth rateship of the line launched in 1711, renamed HMS "Dragon" in 1715, and broken up in 1733.
*HMS|Dragon|1736|6, a 60-gun fourth rate ship of the line launched in 1736, and scuttled as a breakwater in 1757.
*HMS|Dragon|1760|6, a 74-gunthird rate ship of the line built in 1760 and sold in 1784.
*HMS|Dragon|1798|6, a 74-gun third rate ship of the line built in 1798 at Rotherhithe. Refitted in 1814, she served until 1815. She was broken up in 1850.
*HMS|Dragon|1878|6, a 6-gun screw sloop launched in 1878 and sold in 1892.
*HMS|Dragon|1894|6, a twin-screw torpedo-boat destroyer launched in 1894 and sold in 1912.
*HMS|Dragon|D46|0, a lightcruiser launched in 1917 and scuttled off Normandy in 1944 while serving in the Polish navy as ORP "Dragon".
