Stefán Karl Stefánsson (born July 10, 1975 in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland) is an Icelandic film and stage actor who is best known for playing the character Robbie Rotten on the television show LazyTown.

When Stefánsson was fourteen, he made his first appearance on stage as a guard in Robin Hood. He is a well-known performer in Iceland and has starred in many plays, also appearing in a few films.

He currently lives in San Diego with his wife, Icelandic actress, author and former TV-host Steinunn Ólína Þorsteinsdóttir, their three daughters and newborn son.
