Cemetery Dance

"Cemetery Dance" is a literature magazine specializing in dark fantasy and horror. It is published out of Forest Hill, Maryland by Cemetery Dance Publications. It began its run in 1988 and continues to this day. It is published by Richard Chizmar and has published short stories by and interviews with such authors as Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Richard Laymon, Bentley Little, Norman Partridge, Thomas Piccirilli, Ray Garton, Simon Green, Richard Dean Starr, and Robin Spriggs.

In 1992, Richard Chizmar branched out into publishing novels and novellas and the Cemetery Dance Publications imprint was born. The first book published on the imprint was "Prisoners and Other Stories" by Ed Gorman. Other books include a limited edition of "From A Buick 8" by Stephen King, four books by Dean Koontz, and "The Secretary of Dreams" by Stephen King and Glenn Chadbourne.
