- Retrograde Inversion
Retrograde Inversion are a
progressive rock /funk band fromHaslemere ,England . The band formed in2003 as part of the Live and Direct Youth Scheme. The band's name is derived from the musical term Retrograde Inversion, meaning backwards and upside down.They performed at Alton Live and have played a free concert at
Alton College . More notably however, they won the Alton Battle of the Bands. In addition they have played on Delta Fm andBBC Radio Leicester . They have been described by the local press as having '"an exciting mix of bass-drivenfunk and 70's style melodic rock"."As of now the band has been split. Whether the band reforms or not depends on the future they have. They have considered reforming, however university has gotten in the way of the members.
Louise Coady is now in a new band called "Jump Ship" once again sining vocals, in her new band they have got an album due out sometime next year (2009) and it will be the debut album which you can be purchase in stores, and on the internet.
Ben Turk is currently working on his own band, called Ben & Amy. They have already released their first album and it has been released for online for buy. You can purchase a copy on Itunes.
So Retrograde Inversion could be dead for good.
