Bridgeport, Connecticut , is an American professionalgolf er. He was a member of theProfessional Golfers' Association of America .Catropa displayed early skill at
golf , and representedConnecticut in the 1969United States Golf Association Amateur Championship, and attended college inMiami, Florida .Catropa turned professional in 1972, and won the Westchester Open in 1976. He also set the nine hole record at the Connecticut Open.
He was the head golf professional at Birchwood Country Club, Ornoque Country Club, and Maplemore Golf Course in
Westchester County, New York .He currently resides in
Monroe, Connecticut .
