Ladislav Lubina

Ladislav Lubina is former czech ice hockey player and currently ice hockey coach, born February 11, 1967. High 177cm (6'1), weigh 90 kg (180 lb) Forward. He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the 11th round in 1985, but never played NHL. Ladislav played in Czechoslovakia (Czech republic), Finland, Germany and Switzerland.

International

Ladislav played on 1992 Bronze Medal winning Olympic ice hockey team for Czechoslovakia. He also played on 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1998 IIHF Men's World Championships and 1987 Canada Cup for the same team.

Czechoslovak and Czech ice hockey competitions

He started to play ice hockey on high level in town of Hradec Kralove, then he came to HC Pardubice in 1984/1985 and spent over 20 seasons in Czech Extraliga (Czechoslovak). He played mostly for HC Pardubice, but also played for Dukla Jihlava and HC Oceláři Třinec. Ladislav was the top league scorer in 1990/1991 with 41 goals in 50 games. He left Extraliga in 2006, after game between HC Pardubice and HC Slavia Praha, aged 39! He is currently coaching ice hockey team HC Chrudim.
