King Street Bridge (Toronto)

King Street Bridge (Toronto)

The King Street Bridge are two unused bridges spanning Toronto, Canada's Don River. The bridges once carried traffic on King Street across the Don River. The north bridge is a masonary Arch bridge and the south a Truss bridge similar to the Queen Street and Bathurst Street Bridges. King Street was re-aligned to merge with Queen Street East long before the two roads crossed the Don River. The stretch of King east and west of the Don was renamed Eastern Avenue. Eastern is cut off at the Don and the old King Street Bridge no longer links any road east or west; it is cut off by railway tracks on the western shore, and the Don Valley Parkway on the eastern shore.
